Narragansett Bay Commission
The Narragansett Bay Commission owns and operates Rhode Island's two largest wastewater treatment facilities: Field's Point in Providence and Bucklin Point in East Providence, and provides wastewater collection and treatment forProvidence, North Providence, Pawtucket, Central Falls, Cumberland, Johnston, Lincoln, and portions of East Providence, Smithfield and Cranston.
Businesses within the NBC's service area may require a permit from the NBC. The NBC can help you determine if a permit is needed and guide you through the permitting process. The NBC also offers free water use audits and technical assistance for pollution prevention.
